Automotive technology

Automotive courses are taught by Steve Hoffine, who is certified by the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence. Mr. Hoffine arrived in Galena in 2007 after four years as an automotive technology instructor at the Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyo.

Students attending Galena schools are offered five courses in automotive technology. Mr. Hoffine is working towards obtaining certification for students through the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation during this school year.
